Photographers Without Borders ('Fotografi Senza Frontiere') opens permanent photographic labs wherever there is need – need for self-representation or to salvage memories, need to report or document, to train professional photographers, but also to offer dignity and self-esteem. Through these laboratories, the organisation trains children and teenagers for a profession, so that they are not simply the subject of communication, but rather the leading actors in their own stories.
